Global Finance: Documents and Taxation [Maths Lit]
Welcome to the first Grade 12 Maths Literacy course of 2023! We look forward to making your Maths Literacy journey this year as smooth as possible.
Finance runs the world, and in this course we’ll go beyond household finance covered in previous years to explore global financial systems, looking at financial documents relating to business, tax and loans, and learning the different terminology used in workplace and business finance. We also look at different types of taxation. We close with VAT and UIF.
The next course, Business Finance, follows on this one and will focus on the details of the different types of tariff systems, income and expenditure and profit and loss.
