In this course, learners are shown how to calculate and interpret surface area and volume problems for three-dimensional objects, as outlined in the Grade 11 syllabus. We begin by recapping the ideas of area and perimeter learnt in Grades 9 and 10, then progress to surface area and volume questions related to prisms, cylinders, cones, pyramids and spheres. We finish the course by applying the formulae and methods learnt to compound shapes.

This course takes the basics one step further to provide some extended examples and questions for those learners who enjoy a challenge.
